The chicks have begun to hatch.


Momma number 1 is currently with 2 hatchlings. 3 others have hatched but momma or another has head pecked them dead.

I never let laying Hens hatch Vince. But I use to hatch out Banny chicks . I always kept them away from the grown hens or they would peck the chicks eyes out. chickens are a cruel critter. TFK

What ?/ You didn't have a 30-30 or 308?? Usually a stout stick or hatchet works really well. Plus the hatchet is good training for the zombie invasion.

2 shots actually. The first was rat shot and only seemed to really piss him off. The second was an HP and it took half his head off. Sorry I don't carry a hatchet as EDC
