It's a good read, but his last post on it was July of 2014. I seem to remember that there was still a lot of story to be told.

Edit: I just scanned over that last post of Distance . It's a VERY long post . Maybe he did wrap it up and I just forgot .

Yes, he did wrap it up. But, it could go on.

Just finished the 3 book series "The Days of Noah" by Mark Goodwin.

Absolutely loved them. Very Bible based explanation of the monetary/power structure.

I cannot personally recommend this book yet, but this blogger gave a recent and most thorough review of "Special Forces - Guerilla Warfare Manual":

Blogger is a blog publishing tool from Google for easily sharing your thoughts with the world. Blogger makes it simple to post text, photos and video onto your personal or team blog.

...In response to Reader requests, we will start to review and summarize some of the literature from our own library that may offer some guidance to the average citizen (emphasis mine-Kelly).

To start this series off, I am writing a book review on something that many of you may find of topical and timely interest. I am reviewing Scott Wimberley's “Special Forces – Guerrilla Warfare Manual”. It was published by Paladin Press in 1997. As the mechanics of guerrilla warfare are timeless, don't fret the publishing date. Sun Tzu, Mao and Che Guevara are all read in the present day, proving the point.
            ...
For the average American interested in this topic, “Patrol Tips” will probably provide the immediate knowledge of some basics that need to be absorbed before the larger issues and topics are covered. These tips should be standard knowledge in any Rifle Platoon, as well as anyone out camping or hiking.

If a person is on their own or taking care of their immediate homestead and family unit, this Tips section is important to start with. Although some of the material is not universally relevant to civilians in a SHTF scenario (tracers, grenades, use of claymores and similar), the intent behind this knowledge is broadly applicable. It is more than what to do, it is how to think about things and how those actions fit into the larger picture.

            ...

                      • A non-prepper series I enjoyed was Paul Dorion's series about a Maine game warden. The first book is called The Poachers Son.

For any fly fishermen, Keith McCafferty's series about a private detective/fly guide is good also

                          • Sounds interesting:

Manipulism and the Weapon of Guilt: Collectivism Exposed is the utmost controversial exposé and carefully detailed description of the awful emotional mind game that facilitates communism, socialism, fascism, and social-liberalism, known as collectivism.

The book exposes Denmark, the supposed happiest nation on earth, for what it truly is: collectivism's biggest propaganda hoax. Danish author Mikkel Clair Nissen tells the hidden facts and realities of life in Denmark’s democratic-socialism that they never want you to know.
