So much to do, so little time. This may be a dumb question but I have a swiss army watch, battery powered. Will an emp effect it?

And the answer is: It depends.

Is your watch a digital computer, quartz movement or simple electro-magnet motor watch?

The first will futz out, the second might depending on how much micro-circuitry there is driving the motor, the last one will be just fine.

Sad story speaking of fast food. Eating at Airbus right now. The total was $8.23 & I gave her a $10.00 which she quickly punched in to the register. When I handed her a quarter, she couldn't do the math.. only the machine can do that. Pitiful

I had a similar experience where I was buying wine with groceries and the little cashier girl asked for my birth date. I tell her July 20, [mumble mumble] and she ROLLS HER EYES AT ME and says "Like, what number is July?".

I do that every chance I get. Always give them a big bill and the correct change. Then watch them try to figure out what they owe you. That's the Government sticking their nose in education. And dumbing down the test's so no dumb ass is left behind.
