thanks guys, a little about myself, i haul hazardous materials across the northeast, i enjoy building and shooting guns...camping hunting and fishing..currently building a custom 20" ar-15 7075 forged m4 upper yankee hill machine 20" fluted barrel 1x9 twist yhm smooth handguard, magpul stock and grip on a custom machined lower.. mil-spec nickel-teflon coated bcg and fcg..currently working on building my first b.o.b. out of a usmc lbe bag i got from cheaper than dirt..great group of friends that have the same mindset and are working together to build a plan in case s.h.t.f.Last edited by Masshole; 03-18-2014, 03:33 PM.Comment

thanks tex, im waiting on the parts to come in and then its time to assemble, my lower is in bare metal, i am going to cerakote it myself..once i get everything in, i will take pics of everything in parts and then assembled..Comment

Sounds cool. We have several guys on here who will be happy to assist if you run into any problems. I'm not one of them, but some of the others have quite a bit of knowledge in that area.
If you are into self suffficiency at all, head over to the Farming, Ranching and Homesteading section. Several folks have ongoing threads about their own places where they raise most of their own food. There is alot of good information in that section.
We also have our Darkside section too. If you are offended easily or don't like foul language, don't go there. That's where everybody does most of their BSing though. We have most topics covered with different sections, but if you can't find something let us know. We also have the search function too, but it is often easier to deal with the ridicule and just ask someone. It gives some of the morons a rare chance at feeling intellectually superior.

Welcome to the board Masshole, I love that screen name. I worked up in NH, I guess I can now say many years ago, for a while and got to learn it first hand. You have my utmost sympathies.
