It's that time again.. Time to reflect on what was, where we were when it happened, how we felt on that day... Never forget... Appreciate the gift of life because it could all end in a split second on any normal day..... RIP to all the people who perished that day... Much love.....

That was the day before I decided to rejoin the Army (after many years out). I looked up into the sky the next day and saw the patrolling flights from Luke AFB and thought about what those pilots must have been thinking and thought if I were up there, I'd feel an enormous sense of pride and brotherhood to be flying up there and know that the only people in the skies that day above the US were my guys and the guys we're about to kill. I really missed that and rejoined at the earliest opportunity. Been in ever since.
