I guess tornadoes, flash floods, hurricanes, etc, have finally got some attention from the people who are able to do something about it. Texas is having a tax-free event, similar to the one for school & work clothes, shoes, boots, and backpacks, only for storm & disaster preps.
Sadly, I don't think that some of the people who need it most do anything to take advantage of it. I'm gonna get some batteries, candles and stuff.
