Looks good, they just need to get a good writer to finish this.

    Who won the naming contest?

An old ass Deuce? Seriously? You can buy 90's 5 tons all day long on GS and you're gonna have a 19-oh-gawd duece representing military trucks at a FEMA camp!

If you need pics of 5 tons...I know a guy

        I like it!
Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”

I don't know if I mentioned it, but Escaping Home almost hit the New York Times Best Seller list. It doesn't really mean much, but that's cool as hell. So get your preorder and let anyone you know that it's up for preorder so they can too. I want to see if we can actually hit that list.

Remember, when the powers that be set off an EMP to kill the power, they took most of the newer stuff out with it. Whatever vehicles they could get that run (even an old Korean/Vietnam Deuce) would have to do.

@PatriotMuso: You can read it on a regular smartphone, tablet or whatever from the Amazon store.
Or if AA is nice, maybe he'll send you out a print version.

Which reminds me, I saw the video that Spirko put out of you at the convention where you were passing out copies of Escaping, but I couldn't find the others on Amazon in print. Buh??? Were the first two just digital, and the third one picked up so much steam that they made a print version, or did I miss them somewhere?

90's mechanical 5-tons would operate just fine, and are still used on many bases. Also, Sarge is riding in humvee's to the Camp, so modern military vehicles aren't totally disabled.

I remember seeing many of them out at APG when I did my stint at the Ordinance Library back in the 90's, still sitting in the 5000's Quonset buildings and still being maintained. Granted, that was 16 years ago, but those things are hard to move on the civilian market at auction, so they're probably still in storage.
