Bombing range?

They still use the range from time to time. I have no idea why it says "FRED" out of some trucks. lol. I had actually never seen arial photos till now of the range. I just knew where it was in a general aspect (and I live in the area). http://www.militarybases.us/navy/pin...bombing-range/

Nope, that's Aric. Fred's his girl...kinda. Our question is why it says "FRED" on the bombing range .
