I really enjoy the pictures showing how well the different animals are camouflaged when in the their natural environment. We see it here with the antelope. When there is a little snow on the ground, they seem to be at their best in blending in to their surroundings.

Relaxing in the bush camp after a long hot day outdoors, starting the evenings fire with my Bowie and a ferro rod.
Wild Rhino , leopard , giraffe, sable , roan, kudu, cape buffalo etc walking freely on this 5000 ha private game ranch just 10 m away next to the small fence surrounding this single remote building and fire place-- what bliss!!

What is the purpose of the bars over the windows? To keep the monkeys, or wildlife, out? Or is the purpose like that of burglar bars over here, to keep the two legged predators at bay?

Tex, the most dangerous animal out there are the rhino horn poachers that will stop at nothing , including murder, to get what they want.....

The brakes failed far away from civilization and we then used to stop it against a tree! lol
Also see the traditional water kettle, called a 'seroot' , on the fire.

It would be to keep people out Tex. Most places there also have electrified fences and barbed concertina wire as well. Note the electrified wire to the ground on the inside of the fence as well as the top.

On a bit of a lighter note...
Now Look, if a man start making his sandwich here in the desert with his small hatchet,then you know for a fact that its time for him to go bush!
[spread the butter, chop some onions, slice a tomato, make some 'feather-sticks' out of dried 'biltong' jerky and cut the sandwich in half afterwards ]....lol
Yep, the 'hunting' urge is starting to kick in.......

This is what happens when you ban hunting out of false bambi emotion
Now too many ele in botswana, breaking every fence to find food as they are overpopulated there...



Even in zim where there is now a ban on hunting the lions after the bambi bleeding hearts have their way with the cecill the lion debacle, and now more than 200 over populated lion had to be put down without a single finacial benifit to the rural local communities

People that dont know what the real situation on the ground is, or dont have a clue what the real meaning of the phrase "sustainable hunting" is ,must not listen to stupid libaral propaganda, as they are then directly responsible , and do more harm than good to the animals and local people collectively...



And now, without hunters or safari operators in these remote areas, these poachers took over, doing even more harm...
All thanks to the bambi crowd sitting in a country far -far away hipnotized by their pc screens... !
