    Sorry for the late reply
In Bahrain we had an unusual lot of rain at the beginning of our 'rainy' season.
We have exceeded our yearly average of about 20 mm p.a. inside of the first 3 weeks of November.
The other surrounding desert states also reported unusual high rainfall.

[Wish I could post some desert floods videos here--any tips on how ?]
Up to now we did not have any rain since.

Back home in South Africa the drought is quite severe with some farmers that are going now for 4 years without being able to plant their crops or the sun burned it to nothing as the follow-up rains did not materialized.
Some game and stock farmers are even cutting their own fences as they cannot bare to see their animals dying of thirst.

[....also these very same farmers are the only people in the world producing life giving food to the very same people that want/are killing them daily in nightmarish and brutal ways on their farms.... facts that are being kept out of the media cause its 'political incorrect' to report on any 'black on white' crime in this part of the world !]---
----let me not start on the ongoing but hidden genocide going on here...do the research if you don't believe me.

It is alarming that the bulk of the population's staple food is mealy porridge [grids?] and the farmers are unable to produce it now...and then the ruling gov take some of these productive farms without compensation to only have squatter camps/slums with zero productivity on them [land grab-depending on your perspective ]---mainly by illegal aliens from the north. ....2019 is election year again in RSA....
Any town municipality with an opposition stronghold are being swamped with these forced squatter camps outside of town who will all then vote in that town for the ruling party in exchange for a 3m x 3m zink shack[house] and false political promises that never realized...

There is no Northern border anymore and corrupt officials are issuing a valid citizen RSA Id at every town
---politically the current ruling party ensure in this way that they stay in power at terrible human hardship ,misery and [crime] cost...

There are 11 official languages/'tribes' in RSA and these illegal immigrants that count in the millions are already more in number than some of the official but smaller indigenous South African tribes !---it's a mess...
eg, The Zimbabwe opposition political parties got more members that fill up entire soccer stadiums of 60-75 000 supporters during their political rally's inside the RSA than in their home country! --all illegal here -[do the research!]

Xenophobia fights, killings, crime and hate [black-on black] are out of control as corpses with illegal or no id can not be really identified and this together with Aids are just an embarrassing and not to be mentioned statistic...

    Protect your borders !!

Enough of this ranting--most of you wont believe me in any case -- if you only get your info and knowledge about what is going on in the world from selective TV or Newspaper reports you are being mass brainwashed and doomed to be part of the sheeple anyway.....

W.Lynn--next time I'll post some weather photos I've taken.
    Take care and be safe...

    • People have to rant once in awhile or go nuts , we're having the same problem with our southern border and the weak slimy politicians keep saying it's ok . Protect yourself the best you can and have a plan to get out if the worse happens , good luck to us all .

      • .....my friend that pm me----,like you said, you may be apolitical in your perspective in USA about what is currently happening in South Africa, ( and its your right) ,but the FACTS remain.

At some point your sense for right and wrong will make you choose one side/norm or the other.

By not choosing in fact, a choice has already been made even if only unintentionally, for the one side/norm or the other...

Justice, fairness, equal under the law, integrity, honesty and TRUTH can only have its own side and we all have to try to live as fellow human beings as close to these good norms and values as possible.

We ALL have made mistakes in the past, but what are your norms now to base your decision on the FACTS presented ?
Facts should not be merely a perception....(complex?)

See for example the different perspectives here below based on the same facts but different norms currently in South Africa about the name [and what it stand for] of one of our submarines....!

(There are many more examples like farm murders, exclusion from the job market, unpunished crime, violent stealing, reversed apartheid, corruption, nepotism , deliberate selective lying to the uneducated masses etc, etc)
