For those who choose not to participate, you are missing the boat. Don't you wonder why there isn't much going on. Post an Intro and get in the game!!

Welcome from the realm of Lord Baltimore in Harford County to your immediate south. I'm just a bit outside of the PBR splash area, so I consider myself lucky, wishing that my family and I were back in Florida with the rest of these paste eaters and window lickers.

    Thank you.

There is some concern about PA 'falling' in the long run as well; as it is now surrounded by growingly-socialist NY, MD & NJ to the east and south.

But I agree, a western perch on the more western PA-side mountains is becoming more appealing.

I have to talk to zef_66

Personally, I would go north of Pittsburgh. Anything south is still too heavily populated for me.

Go for the large dark green area.

Hiya - from eastern Carolina. For now. The easiest for you would be the recommendation above to simply go west in your own state. Between Mt. Morris and Washington, PA - there are lots of good sized mountains. I recommend a western exposure, just to avoid anything drifting in from the east that might be more toxic than you'd like.

Welcome from PA as well. Glad to have you on this board.

Sell your place down in the flatlands and move up here to the mountains! It's nice in these woods.

Hello [bows down his head], I am an Angry American.

    I am from PA.

    Woke up in 2011.
Was (and still am) shocked by all that I see when I really started to Look.
    And to really Listen.

    I want to move.
I am in the middle of 4 (FOUR!) reactor sites and really too close to cities
I would be a great neighbor, for someone

I was "called" to go to AZ in 2012; but did not make it there.
Looking at the current water situation; and what would happen there in a grid-down situation, I'm not sure now that it would have been a good move to make.

I was looking to move to ID for several years (to get to the American Redoubt -- but stalled when looking at, what appears to be, mounting issues with water, water rights, volcanoes! and what I still expect to be significant Fukushima effects.

Since then, have looked at KY, TN, NC, VA and other spots in PA -- but, am currently still stuck here.
