  • Hello from Kentucky!

Good day to everyone. My wife and I have been "aware" for several years and continue our education and investment on living a prepared and aware life. We've enjoyed and learned from the popular books/audiobooks like many here. We are in the middle of "Going Home" and have enjoyed it so much already I had to check out more on the forum. I'll keep the obvious and I'm sure often repeated to a minimum, but it's good to know what people like. Compared to the RJW style I have to say I enjoy A.A. more. I'm a physician specialist and know a lot about people. I'm also self educated on a diverse number of other subjects. If find "Gong Home" more realistic and applicable to our situation. I consider myself Christian but still know and use the value of dropping the F-bomb strategically. I would also consider my moral principles to be sound but in the SHTF scenario I'm not going to be above taking someone's ghillie suit left out in the woods. When I read that scene I chuckled to myself that in a JWR book Morgan would have been hanged by the NWM for such a "crime." That's all for now. I'm getting ready to turn the book back on while getting a little paranoia inspired fitness training done. Best wishes. I've already got book 2 cued for download on Audible.

LOL. Welcome to the boards Rex, glad to have you here. I too was a fan of Rawles early work but had the same issues you mentioned, which lead to Going Home. I'm glad you're enjoying the book, luckily you have plenty more to read!
