It's been a while in the making but it's finally here! There was a little mix up with the title on the ebook, you'll see it, but it's getting fixed. This one took a long time to get done, things should certainly go faster moving forward.

Are there any options available for signed copies? Just purchased Kindle edition, but don't want to order paperback yet if signed is an option.

For signed copies simply drive south on I95 Florida until you get to exit 249B and head westbound on SR 44 until you reach Thrill Hill Rd, make a left until you see some gnarled Osage Orange trees that look like a giant scooped them up and wiped his rear with them, make another right at the alligator filled lake, don't forget to tie a large deer stake to you, it's the only way they'll let you pass. Make a left at God's Cafe. Yep, it's no longer open because they took donations instead of payments for food but what the hell...
Eventually, you'll see a guy with a beard wearing a wolf skin coat and an axe, just ask him to sign your book.

All joking aside, congrats buddy. I hope that the series continues, or that you get too rich to bother writing anymore. With only one or two exceptions, none of us know how hard putting out a quality book is. Keep it up.
Now then, is it too soon to start clamoring for Moar Buk?

Got both Kindle and hardcopy...waiting on hardcopy but finished reading this morning. Another fine installment of the series.

Any word on an audio version? I don't have much time to read, but have tons of windshield time in the car. I listened to the first 5 on audiobook and would love to have this option again. Otherwise it will take me months to read it.

Well, now I'm upset with our friend AA. I started reading last night. I usually read for about half an hour to an hour prior to going to sleep. Almost 5 hours later, I decided that I had better shut it down for the night. I wish that he'd make his stories a bit less interesting and a bit more boring, so I can get some decent sleep.

08-19-2015, 05:23 PM
Did about the same Kick, closed up around 2am for the night. Does anyone know if the books will be available at Barns and Noble as usual or do I just need to order the hard copy from amazon?

kickstand
08-19-2015, 07:43 PM
I asked the same question, and if it will be available for Nook. AA says that he is pretty much tied to Amazon at this time.
As for the audio book, on his Facebook page, he says that it will be a few weeks.

08-19-2015, 08:51 PM
I liked being able to go to the local bookstore to pick it up, but having it delivered will suffice.

angeryamerican
08-19-2015, 08:56 PM
It is available to the book stores. Now whether or not they pick it up is a different story. I hope they do but we'll have to wait and see. The audio book will take some time. One of the reasons things took so long with Penguin was they would wait until all formats were ready at the same time. I decided to get the versions out as fast as I could. So there will be several weeks before the audio is ready.

Dammit, when's book 7 come out??!

Way to go, AA - you have me on the edge of the chair - already drooling for the next installment. I enjoyed the cameo appearance of our various friends. Well done!

I'm like you Kick . When I start reading a book It only lasts about 2 days . I read book 5 in two evenings/ nights.

Is Duke Fontaine still doing the audio? I liked his style and character voices.

Trying to parse my words to prevent a spoiler.

Loved it, but you can be a jerk AA. :D Sure hope you've already started writing Book 7!

btw - you still need a proofreader. ;)

Although i don't disagree about the proofreading, compare 6 to book 1...I'd say that there is a marked improvement.

Great job Brother. I hope that everyone who reads it will remember that its REALLY helpful if they will go on Amazon and review it.

I was at Books A Million today and asked about Enforcing. The store manager told me that they can get it (they have the earlier books), but that its slow and difficult if its self-published. Said he'll put in for it. We'll see.

I listen to the audio book also due to time and I have to say that your books and Duke Fontaine works well together!

I am listening to Patriots:A novel of Survival. The guy who narrates that reminds me of listening to a gangster from Chicago.

Finished book 6 a couple nights ago. It kept me on my toes the whole time and was hard to put it down, usually did about 3am each night after passing out. Great book AA. Have to say it still seemed a little short, and the cliffhanger is killing me. So book 7 will be out In a week or two right?

I like the steady hammering on the concept that some folks just need killing. But that probably doesn't surprise anyone. Now, the way a certain bird got trussed after it came in for a landing was a surprise - I thought I was the only one around who'd do that to someone. (Used to practice that one a lot of years ago, when I was more flexible. It can be gotten out of.)

I held off getting book five until book six was available .

I read them both , now I am ready for two more ...
I thought both books were good .
The events that took place remind me that luck will only get you so far .

If you guys see errors let me know. My editor and I had a serious cluster with the manuscript. Somehow unedited material ended up in the final and we had to go back through it. I thought we got it all. If you see something just let me know. I can always fix it.

I'm working the next one and hope to have it out sooner that the last one. Book 6 took forever but there was a lot going on. As for TV, we're working on it still. It's just a slow process.

Glad you guys liked it though. ;)

LOL. Book seven is in the works but I'm also trying to clean up book six. There was some confusion towards the end of the editing. We were editing it as I wrote it. As I finished a few chapters I would send them to my editor and he would go over them and send them back. Somehow in all the back and forth I got the versions messed up, it's my fault. But I'm trying to clean it up. The next one will go differently though.

AA, there wasn't anything horrendous on the typo-front. Nothing that disrupted the flow of reading - and yes, I noticed some little things. But have you read anything lately from professional news people? O M G - it's flat out AWFUL.

I'm really looking forward to Book 7 and not just because of the cliffhanger.

Sorry John. Since going on my own things take a little more time. There was an issue with scheduling with the guys doing the audio book and that caused a delay. But it's in the final editing stage now and is on it's way. The company doing it has some of the top rated audio books and I'm looking forward to it.

Finished Enforcing last night, my very first Kindle purchase. Just finished the Amazon Kindle preview of Avenging, looks like I'm gonna have to get it for weekend reading.

okhogman
11-16-2016, 05:38 PM
Since my favorite bookstore Hastings shutdown I had to drive all the way to Tulsa to order Avenging Home from Barnes and Noble. Took less than a week to receive it and finished it in 2 days. That was about 2 weeks ago. Since I've read all the others twice I figured I may as well go ahead and sacrifice and read this one a second time too. ; -)
My wife has also read all of the others. But since it's been a little while she didn't want to read Avenging until she reread the others to reacquaint herself with all the people and names. But she'll soon be picking up Avenging and I am sure she will enjoy it as much as I did.
