  • My First 1 Star Review! Awesome! No really, thanks a lot!

Well it had to happen sooner or later, someone bought my book, read a few pages, decided they didn't like it and left a one-star review.

    This is what they put...

"What a waste of money. I stopped reading before I got to the zombies. Grow up and learn to write something more true to life."

It astounds me that people buy a book from a sci-fi / post-apocalyptic genre and expect 'true to life' as things once were before a collapse.

Oh Well, he could have just asked for a refund but I guess he must like the book in a strange way to not do so??

    You can't please everybody.

If we cannot define a simple word like greatness, how can we ever hope to use it as a measuring stick to know when we have risen beyond average?

Ya dude, like, write more realistic, true to life stuff, like going to work everyday, paying taxes, and don't leave out how much fun it is to mow the yard. Those books REALLY make a bundle!

I had my first 1 star as well. Decided not to let it bother me. The 5 star reviews make the 1 star look like a fool.

Soooo... Run around central Florida, throwing rocks at cars that refuse to use a turn signal, making beef jerky in my car, walking through the graveyard next to my house asking spirits for help and telling the woman that the screaming fat guy on the radio is Alex Jones and not Rush Limbaugh is good reading?
