I get asked a LOT about where someone should start in their search to learn how to start prepping. I'd like to come up with a good list of website articles and maybe even websites that I can direct people to if they're completely new to prepping.

Any suggestions?

#1: Tess Pennington's readynutrition.com (http://readynutrition.com/)

and, IMHO, some of the rest of the best:

backwoodshome.com articles (http://www.backwoodshome.com/article_index.html#en);

prepperwebsite.com (http://www.prepperwebsite.com/).

BTW, I've been trying to get such info up at this thread http://angeryamerican.net/showthread.php/2838-List-of-Lists and, also, http://angeryamerican.net/showthread.php/ Links which may be of interest: I. I like the survival mom-good everyday grocery shopping/prepper info for families. Lot of 'mom' centered stuff on there. And she's really nice, too-very realistic info and attitude.

http://www.graywolfsurvival.com is one of the best i've seen so far.

http://angeryamerican.net is also quite nice.

Reading the Going Home Series is a good place to start as well, although fiction, it gives people a lot to think about. In particular, what would they do in a situation, and scenarios that get you thinking.

I have to admit I learn a lot from fiction survivalist books (double checking info of course) regarding topics I may not have the patience to read through (military tactics, etc.)
