  • EPA land grab-not good.

"the proposal immediately sparked concerns that the regulatory power could extend into seasonal ponds, streams and ditches, including those on private property.

"The ... rule may be one of the most significant private property grabs in U.S. history," said Louisiana Sen. David Vitter, the top Republican on the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee."

Well, another agenda 21 bunch of crap. So now they want to claim water that's in the ditches? On private property? And how do we fight this? Because we can call and complain but they just do what they want to in the end-and really-if you complain enough you get on a list and who knows where that winds you up if/when the shtf, yaknow?

Moreso than you probably realize. This little deal has been in the works for several years and has western ranchers in an uproar. The EPA has no legislative authority, nor does it have any law enforcement authority yet they are doing both and severely overstepping their limits. Recently they came to Wyoming and using some very obscure and outdated rules of some sort, they decided that Riverton, Wyoming does not belong to the state, but rather to the Wind River Indian Reservation. Because we currently have a governor with his eyes set on Washington, he has done nothing but write a couple of semi- strongly worded letters. Thankfully he is up for re election and we have a very good candidate that is more than likely going to unseat the statist SOB.

The EPA is one government agency that most people don't give much thought to, but it is growing by leaps and bounds. With the rules they are trying to implement, if they are successful, they will be able to lay claim to the water in a mudhole in your diveway. They could come in claiming it is now a wetland and under their purview and authority, basically removing any and all landowner rights and authority. People had better wake the %*@# up and shut this BS down before it is too late.

If we cannot define a simple word like greatness, how can we ever hope to use it as a measuring stick to know when we have risen beyond average?
